Our Story

Island Tides was created with the idea that everyone should have something to wear for both a comfort and classy occasion. I mean, let’s be serious, who doesn't want to make heads turn? Our goal is to make sure that you have an outfit for both the beach or boat, and anything in between.

Growing up in Barrington, Rhode Island, a big part of my life was spending summer days at the beach or on a boat. Always finding a way to hang out with friends and play a few rounds of golf as well. I wanted to create something that I could wear for any occasion. Summers in Rhode Island have the tendency of getting pretty warm (even worse with the humidity), so I wanted something that was lightweight and breathable. Creating this reality with my father and one of my best friends was an awesome experience. We take great pride in the shirt we have created and can’t wait for everyone to experience the comfort for themselves!
